WHAT IS ABA?

Extensive research has proven that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is profoundly beneficial for children and adults with autism. It is an evidenced-based, comprehensively studied approach to modifying behaviors that enable people to live better lives. It can improve social, communication, learning skills, and behavioral disorders through reinforcement strategies. This is called as the gold standard for autism treatment.

ABA Therapy is used to determine the causes of a person’s behavioral changes. It can be used at various places like schools, clinics, offices, hospitals, and homes.

It is most successful with Autism, when applied for more than 20 hours a week and before the age of 4. It can also help individuals with autism to form better relationships, develop their strengths, learn new skills, nurture desired behaviors, reduce socially problematic behaviors. Continued therapy can help them find better opportunities in life.
